So we have the cold. Actually it's just the kids but that's all you need to make you feel bad. Poor little Linus has the sniffles, too. He was pretty clogged up last night, I'm just waiting to see how bad it will get. Hope for the best, expect the worst...

Even though Otso still has a runny nose, he's doing better than a couple of days ago, when he had to take some cortisone (I think) based medicine to help him breathe. He woke up in the middle of the night coughing and was having difficulty breathing (kind of like with laryngitis). It took me a while to convince him to take the medicine with a babyhaler. Once he agreed on it, it got better and he slept the rest of the night just fine. Today Otso is in day care. He likes it there, because this fall he got to move to the big kids' side. His best buddy Anton is in the same group.

Aleksi came back from eskari (kindergarten) and went off to work with his dad on grandfather's house. The two of them went for a long bike ride last night, no breathing problems there! Aleksi made them a snack to eat on the way, although I think the sandwiches are still tied to Emett's bike. While the biggest boys were out riding their bikes, Otso, Linus and I went for a short stroll as well. Otso rode his small bike and I pushed Linus in the stroller. We had a good time, too!
