We are (slowly) getting ready to go! We haven't packed yet, but we have made a list of things to do before we go and to pack. :D Packing will be easy this time (I hope), because we are only taking carry-on bags. We have an hour and 15 minutes to change planes in New York, so we figured it's best if we don't take any luggage, because in New York we would have to re-check them after taking them through the customs. So now we can just skip directly to the next gate, which hopefully will be close by.

I actually like not having to haul a lot of bags with me. I think if we take 3 or 4 days worth of clothing with us, and will be doing laundry every other days or so, we should be just fine. And we can always buy more clothes while we are in the US. Grammy has already bought some clothes for the kids, I just need to find out what they are so I won't bring the same stuff with me.

We are getting really excited to go. The big boys have been counting down days and asking when we are going. Otso says he can't wait to go to Grammy's. He was very excited when I told him about Grammy's tub with jets... :) It will be a fun holiday! We all need it, especially Emett who hasn't had a break in.... 3 years? gosh...

We are also getting over our flu and strep throat (me and Emett), so hopefully we will all be healthy and bursting with energy on Tuesday. hehehe... I think the big boys will have a fine time travelling, but Linus might wear us out. Hopefully he will be able to sleep on the plane and hopefully he won't mind being held all the time...

Well, two more days at home. Still a lot to do: cleaning, organizing mail and mouse traps (yup, we have to have Steve come catch our mice! heheh), tidying our yard, emptying the fridge... I'd better get some sleep before all of that has to be done! Good night!
